We’re on the lookout for a technically astute, solutions-driven Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our Cyber Security team and lead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of enterprise identity controls. This is a hands-on role focused on engineering IAM solutions that safeguard access to our Corporate and Motorway Systems, ensuring only authorised users and devices gain access—when needed, and only for the purpose required.**Day-to-day, you will:*** Design and develop IAM interface specifications and data flow mechanisms to Transurban standards* Configure and implement SSO, MFA, and IAM products, integrating with ITSM, ERP, and directory services* Engineer solutions for automated provisioning, identity governance, role management, and privileged access* Define and deliver access control policies, standards, and operational procedures* Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to manage integrations and system health* Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor IAM performance and anomalies* Extend IAM capabilities across business applications using config-as-code and CI/CD principles* Support incident response and change management processes related to identity systems**This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:*** A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience* Proven success implementing and leading IAM solutions in enterprise-level, mission-critical environments* Expertise in IAM, Governance, and PAM tools, including SSO, MFA, and federated access* Strong understanding of directory services (LDAP, Kerberos), identity lifecycle, and access governance* Experience with scripting, programming languages, and integration protocols (SCIM, JDBC, webservices)* Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk) and compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences* Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skillsIf you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.**With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:*** Flexible working options, including the ability to purchase up to six weeks of additional leave each year* 16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), plus superannuation on unpaid leave* Career growth and leadership development opportunities* Wellbeing support—from Headspace to EAP and wellness facilities* Share offers and discounted insurance benefits* Team social events, volunteer days, and community give-back initiativesWe offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests.
