The role of Claims Assessor will see you taking responsibility for the prompt and fair assessment of claims. You will be reporting directly into the Service Manager - Trade Credit & Surety, and working within a collaborative, supportive and dedicated team.**Your new role*** Process claims promptly and in compliance with regulations.* Handle all written and verbal communications with customers.* Maintain a strong customer service focus, especially in challenging situations.* Support the implementation of the Claims strategy.* Keep files, systems, and databases accurate to reflect the Claim Management process.* Share competitor and market activity insights with the team, and actively engage in training and coaching to meet QBE and customer expectations. **About you**We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is commercially minded and solution focused.* Claims experience in a specialist or financial insurance class is highly regarded.* Background in insolvency, accounting, banking, or finance is highly regarded.* Experience working with brokers and/or corporate customers is highly regarded.* Strong customer-focused experience with analytical and communication skills.* Ability to collaborate effectively and influence internal stakeholders.* Team-oriented, resilient, and accountable, acting with integrity under pressure.**About QBE**We can never really predict what’s around the corner, but at QBE we’re asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
