Electrical Supervisor – Commercial Maintenance | Western Suburbs $52–$54 per hour + Company Ute + Stability + Growth Full-time | 7:00am–3:30pm (OT as required) The Opportunity Working across major campuses in Melbourne’s west, you’ll take ownership of a long-standing electrical services contract. This is an 80% off-the-tools position focusing on: Quoting and coordination Scheduling and managing maintenance Overseeing a small team of A-Grade Electricians Being the trusted on-site point of contact for stakeholders What You’ll Be Doing Plan, organise and schedule all preventative maintenance activities Prepare reports, quote repairs, and coordinate shutdowns for RCD testing and switchboard maintenance Manage reactive work orders, ensuring timely completion and portal updates Quote day‑to‑day electrical works (lighting, power upgrades, minor projects) Assist the Service Manager on larger quoted works Maintain strong communication with site stakeholders: Weekly meetings with the onsite Facilities Manager Monthly meetings involving the broader service team Provide hands‑on support when required and allocate work to 2–3 A-Grade Electricians Coordinate additional staff during peak periods, including apprentices Who We’re Looking For A proactive, switched‑on A-Grade Electrician with a commercial maintenance background Someone who takes pride in client care, communication, and urgency Leadership experience is ideal but not essential — perfect for an ambitious leading hand electrician ready to step up If you don’t have quoting or supervisory experience yet, full training and support will be provided Must be personable, reliable, and able to build strong client trust What’s On Offer $52–$54 per hour (depending on experience) Company Ute (2‑door) Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm Ongoing support + career development Long‑term secure contract work Great team culture and strong relationship with site stakeholders Ivana Forsdick JV Recruitment ✉️ Contact me any time for a confidential chat about this role, your career, your organisation, or Melbourne's construction industry. *All applications will be confidential*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted By submitting an application for this position, you consent to your Personal Information being collected, held, used, and disclosed by JV Recruitment.
