Overview Hamilton Island is Australia’s premier holiday destination in the Whitsundays, home to four resort options, over 15 dining and restaurant outlets, a championship golf course, and a luxury Yacht Club. We’re currently looking for Kitchen Stewards to join our dedicated and hard-working back-of-house Food & Beverage team. Your main focus will be supporting chefs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring hygiene compliance across all back-of-house operations. Where You’ll Make an Impact Wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times Unpack deliveries and manage stock rotation Support chefs with general cleaning and basic prep tasks Comply with food safety and safe work practices Physically active role in a busy, fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For You’re someone who takes pride in doing a great job, thrives in a team, and is reliable, enthusiastic, and physically fit. You understand that every plate of food starts with a clean kitchen and clean tools — and you’re the person who makes that happen. To Be Successful, You Will Need: A valid open driver licence (Essential – NAATI translation required if international) Previous experience as a Kitchens Hand or in a physically demanding role (Preferred) A strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude Willingness to work varied shifts and adapt to changing demands Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards Good level of physical fitness – this is an active role About Hamilton Island Our mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder-filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.
