We have a role available for a highly organised and customer‑focussed Housing Officer to be based in Dubbo and provide a broad range of tenancy and property management services for a portfolio of Social and Affordable homes. Responsibilities Conduct lease sign‑ups and routine inspections. Ensure all information in our system is up‑to‑date. Follow up on any client enquiries, complaints or other issues. Maintain close contact with clients whilst providing exceptional customer service. Work closely with the Support Coordinator to ensure clients receive appropriate support to sustain their tenancies. Qualifications Experience in tenancy and property management and/or community services. Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (highly desirable). Excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills. High degree of initiative and well‑developed written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving, analytical and negotiation skills, particularly in difficult circumstances including dealing with distressed tenants. Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Check. Benefits Opportunity to make a significant contribution to our organisation and community. The Housing Officer is classified as a Level 4.1 under the SCHADS Award, which equates to $88,327 gross per annum. This will increase on an annual basis in line with the pay points in the Award.
