As a key member of our Centre’s Leadership Team, the Assistant Centre Manager assists with the people and process revenue, and all other operational elements of a recreation and/or aquatic centre The Role The roles focus on helping to deliver centre-wide results, while also being responsible for leading and managing the centres in the absence of the Centre Manager. This role will work across Port Pirie Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Port Pirie Sports Precinct and Crystal Brook Swimming Pool. This will require the position holder to lead by example and hold a range of skills and capabilities across all centre functions including customer experience, learn to swim programs, health and safety compliance, and pool operations. Crucial role toprovide centreleadership andassistwith drivingleisure centreattendance and program participation, in a context of health, safety and compliance.With key accountabilities forSales,Patron,Experience,Risk,MitigationandCompliance Prior experienceinindustry sectors such asHealth, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail orBusiness. Proventeam leaderorpeople management and have an overall ability to lead, motivating a team anddeveloping others. If you have excellent customer service skills, sales, and the ability to achieve targets and key performance indicators. Our leader demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and ability to accept feedback. You will need to also have an understanding of WHS and risk including the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and SA Health regulations.
