It has an enrolment of approximately 700 students, including 30 Aboriginal students. The school has a Positive Education and Positive Behaviour for Learning focus, supporting students to become safe, respectful and resilient learners. The school has a strong reputation for developing the whole child, which includes academic excellence, leadership and involvement in co-curricular programs and opportunities. School funding is strategically utilised to support opportunities for students to improve learning outcomes both in and out of the classroom. The school currently has one support class (multi-categorical), with two additional classes commencing from 2026. Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach Special Education and/or experience teaching students with Autism, Mild/Moderate Intellectual Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance and other complex needs. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to build partnerships with colleagues, families, SLSOs and external support agencies to enrich the culture of the wider community. Demonstrated capacity to develop quality differentiated teaching programs and individualised support plans that incorporate evidence-based, flexible and adaptive strategies that create a positive learning environment and promote student wellbeing. Initiate and lead projects that focus on the successful integration of students into whole-school programmes and events to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
