We are seeking passionate, client-focused Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team. "Our Mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.” About the Role: As a Personal Care Worker, you'll provide holistic, client-focused care in line with each client’s tailored care plan. You’ll play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort in their own homes. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan. Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more. Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client’s care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members. Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation. Maintain accurate daily client notes and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager. Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises, and non-sterile dressings, under the supervision of an RN. Why Join Us? Current Senior First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and Manual Handling (HLTWHS005) (with 3+ months until expiry). A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver’s licence. Federal Police Clearance (within the last 6 months). Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients. Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care. Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures. Preferred Skills Understanding of person-centred care.
