The Opportunity The Ramsay Surgical Centre Miranda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MOHS Technicians to join our progressive and innovative team As the successful candidate you will demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to quality care and the best patient outcomes. The role of MOHS Technician requires employees to work closely with the MOHS Surgeons in processing skin samples for quick diagnosis with the use of a specialized form of Frozen Section Microtomy. Your duties in the role will include, but not limited to: Laboratory set-up General Laboratory assistance Embedding Rapid H&E staining Mounting slides Laboratory clean-up and other maintenance duties. Skills and Experience A background education in Histology and Laboratory Techniques Previous Histology and Frozen Section experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have own transportation Good ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines.
