Fierce Females is a women‑led charity on the Gold Coast that focuses on violence prevention and protection. We work with females and female‑identifying individuals in a trauma‑informed capacity to build strength, resilience, courage and hope. Overview We are looking for a trainer who embodies our values and is ready to share our message, support women in achieving their goals and help them live a life free from violence. The role involves delivering the Box and Bloom program – a practical boxing and fitness class specifically designed for women – at our Gold Coast studio on Tuesday evenings (and possibly additional shifts as the program expands). Responsibilities Deliver classes in line with the Box and Bloom curriculum and coaching style (training provided). Ensure all participants feel included, supported and safe. Manage group dynamics and provide individual feedback and corrections as needed. Set up and pack down the venue and equipment before and after each class. Complete a short session report after each session, summarising wins, strengths, improvements and any challenges. Follow all Fierce Studio procedures for class preparation, safety, incidents, post‑class administration and professional conduct. Selection Criteria / Skills Required Position must be filled by a female or female‑identifying individual (genuine occupational requirement). Strong understanding of boxing techniques and practical experience coaching individuals of varying ages and abilities. Experience working with beginners and adapting coaching to different learning needs. Ability to motivate, support and encourage participants in an inclusive environment. Commitment to teaching correct technique and providing kind, constructive feedback. Warmth, approachability and positivity to foster an inviting and motivating environment while serving as a role model for participants. Capacity to follow the Box and Bloom curriculum while ensuring a safe and empowering class experience. Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Benefits This position will start as a volunteer role while you are trained. Once you run the class independently, it will transition to a paid position. You will join a supportive and passionate team making a real difference in the lives of women. How You Will Make a Difference Empower women to step into a traditionally male‑dominated space confidently. Teach correct technique and apply it in context to build physical fitness and protective skills. Help participants develop competency in boxing techniques and foster confidence, resilience, fitness and self‑belief that extend beyond a normal gym environment. Create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where women can connect, share experiences and be part of a community that celebrates growth and empowerment. Serve as a positive role model, showing female and female‑identifying individuals that they can challenge norms, embrace their strength and take up space in areas traditionally reserved for men. Through your sessions you will contribute directly to Fierce Females’ broader mission to prevent and protect against violence, creating a lasting impact on the lives of women and the wider community. Your session reports, feedback and celebration of participants’ progress will help monitor and support participant growth, ensuring that every class leaves a meaningful and lasting impression. #J-18808-Ljbffr
