Junior Business Development Manager – Architectural Surfaces (Melbourne) Surfaces and More is the exclusive Australian distributor of TABU , Italy’s leading manufacturer of dyed and decorative timber veneers. We partner with architects, interior designers, and joiners to deliver premium materials to the country’s most beautiful projects. We’re a growing, design-focused company passionate about craftsmanship, sustainability, and inspiring interiors. The Opportunity We’re looking for a motivated and confident Business Development Manager to grow our Melbourne presence. This role suits someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and seeing beautiful design projects come to life. Whether you’re an experienced sales professional or a self-starter eager to break into the design and interiors industry, we’ll provide full product training and support. What You’ll Do Develop and grow relationships with architects, interior designers, and joiners. Identify and follow up new business opportunities. Present TABU veneer collections to design studios and clients. Support project specifications and coordinate with head office on samples and pricing. Attend industry events and stay engaged with the A&D community. What We’re Looking For Confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude. Interest in interior design, architecture, or premium building materials. Self-motivated and organised, able to work independently. Driver’s licence and own car required (travel allowance provided). Previous experience in sales, interiors, or building materials is a plus — but not essential. What We Offer Salary package of $75,000–$80,000 + car allowance. Flexible working arrangements.
