Lecturer in Metaphysics and Philosophy of Science University of Melbourne – Full‑time position in the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies, Arts Faculty. Role details Role type: Full-time Faculty: Arts School: School of Historical and Philosophical Studies Salary: $124,656 – $148,023 p.a. plus 17% superannuation Your responsibilities will include: Lead engaging teaching: coordinate and deliver Philosophy subjects and develop technology‑based teaching resources. Advance research excellence: publish peer‑reviewed articles and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects. Foster academic networks: cultivate research links with campus groups and external partners. Demonstrate leadership: actively engage in service and leadership roles within the discipline and the school. You may be a great fit if: Proven track record in teaching and research in Metaphysics and Philosophy of Science, with the ability to supervise honours students and engage in academic networks. Passionate educator with expertise in Metaphysics and Philosophy of Science. Strong academic performance and well‑established teaching skills.
