Join the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) as a Services Assistant and play a vital role in supporting high-quality catering, cleaning, and laundry services that directly impact the comfort and wellbeing of our clients and staff. Key Responsibilities: Support catering services by preparing simple meals, portioning ingredients, plating food, and assisting clients with menu completion. Contribute to housekeeping through cleaning duties, carpet care, high-level dusting, and general upkeep of the health unit. Provide laundry services including washing, drying, folding, labelling, and storing linen, uniforms, and clothing. Assist in managing materials and equipment, including checking stock, reporting repairs, and safely operating machinery. Work cooperatively with the team and follow clear, structured instructions to ensure smooth daily operations. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone reliable, motivated, and willing to learn, with limited experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry services. You’ll be comfortable with physical, hands‑on tasks and able to follow procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
