Workshop Controller

Rockingham Toyota is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to oversee the operation of our busy workshop. Lead our close-knit workshop team to achieve excellence in vehicle servicing. Responsibilities Correctly loading jobs into the workshop to make best use of technician skills. Ensure efficient workshop flow with capped price service jobs. Prioritise jobs where additional work may be required. Act as the bridge between the workshop team and advisor team. Ensure the workshop is maintained and kept safe and tidy in accordance with Toyota standards. Liaise with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager to ensure daily targets are achieved. Ensuring commitment and compliance to OHS and other company policies. Contribution to reaching monthly guest satisfaction targets – allocate the right job to the right technician to minimise rework. Qualifications Qualified Mechanics looking to make the next step in their career, or an applicant currently in a workshop foreman position. Knowledge and Mechanical Experience in the Automotive Industry. A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent. A current Driver's License. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Reporting to the Service Manager you will work as part of a solid team to ensure work is carried out at the highest standard and that customer satisfaction is always exceeded. In return you will receive a fully maintained vehicle, fuel and generous commission package.
