As the Manager, Projects & Transformationyou will be responsible for: Manage and coordinate all Enterprise Infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, resource visibility, and timely delivery. Manage transformational activities that improve service integration, reporting structures, and operational efficiency across all Enterprise Infrastructure domains This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Infrastructure. This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity. The position will be based primarily at Mount Gravatthowever you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Enterprise Infrastructure Roadmap outlining initiatives, timelines, and resource requirements. Provide portfolio-level visibility through dashboards and reporting for leadership and stakeholders. Track progress, risks, and dependencies across all Enterprise Infrastructure activities. Facilitate resource planning and allocation discussions with domain managers and wider TAFE Queensland teams. Align Enterprise Infrastructure activities and projects with organisational priorities, policy and compliance requirements. Engage and communicate effectively with TAFE Queensland business and stakeholders to ensure all Enterprise Infrastructure activities are understood and agreed. Collaborate with other teams in ICT Enterprise Infrastructure to deliver services. Ensure all work is closely aligned with TAFE Queensland’s strategic vision and operational plans. Provide leadership across multiple teams, both within the team and from various vendors, as required to achieve the outcomes agreed with the customer. Identify and recommend improvements to service boundaries, reporting lines, and team integration. Support digital transformation initiatives including automation opportunities and process modernisation. Act as a change champion promoting best practices for collaboration and governance across Enterprise Infrastructure and other TAFE Queensland teams. Assist in defining standards and frameworks for project execution and reporting within EI. Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the values of Safety First, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities: Demonstrated and applied knowledge of operational frameworks, methodologies and disciplines that enable continuity of services and continuous improvement in line with broader objectives. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and translate complex requirements into actionable plans. Experience in organisational change management or transformation programs. Demonstrated ability and relevant achievement in the leadership of ICT infrastructure initiatives including scoping, planning, scheduling, and implementing technical solutions within timeframes and budgets. Proven high-level of skill in leading, managing and developing technical staff and establish and manage professional networks with internal and external clients, vendors, and key stakeholders. Demonstrated analytical skills and an ability to identify and address customer problems in developing effective solutions in a large and diverse organisation within timeframes, objectives, and quality requirements. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence vendors and staff at all levels through consultation, negotiations, promoting and influencing decision making. Demonstrated ability to live and promote a strong ICT team culture that values the contributions of all team members, is honest and considerate, and through that establishes and maintains a highly respected high-performance team. Highly Desirable Requirements Tertiary qualification in Information and Communications Technology, Project Management, or demonstrated equivalent experience is highly regarded. You will possess minimum of 3 years of ICT project management in enterprise environments. IT service management (ITSM) including Incident, Change, Problem and Release management You will possess experience dealing with external service providers and working in a diverse environment(s) including but not limited to TAFE Queensland staff and service providers. General understanding of technical domains such as networking, platform, cloud, and Identity and access management as well as customer service delivery.
