We are seeking a highly capable Project Support Finance Officer to support the High-Speed Tactical Cloud Connect Project. Key Responsibilities Maintain the financial baseline for the Tactical Connectivity project Track actual expenditure, commitments, and accruals against approved budgets. Prepare and update financial reports for governance forums and senior leadership Provide accurate ETC forecasts to support decision-making and prevent cost overruns Assist with financial risk identification and support mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with Defence financial policies and reporting standards. Skills & Outcomes Financial Management in Project Delivery: Strong understanding of project financial controls, including baseline management, cost tracking, and forecasting Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or risks Tools & Systems: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), SAP or Defence financial systems, and project management tools. Reporting: Skilled in preparing financial dashboards and variance analysis for senior stakeholders. Communication: Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Preferred: Experience in Defence or government financial frameworks; familiarity with Contract financial governance.
