The opportunity The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Resident Wellbeing Assistants to join our team at Mount Martha Valley Residential Aged Care Facility in Safety Beach on a casual basis. As a Resident Wellbeing Assistant, you will be valued as part of a self‑motivated team passionate about fostering a positive culture and contributing to the well‑being of all residents. The role will support the implementation and evaluation of all activity programs, review and complete consumer assessments, and work under the direct supervision of the Lifestyle Coordinator with Volunteers, Therapy and Care Staff to assist with person‑centered holistic care. We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle, with casual work across a 14‑day roster. Let us know your availability that works with your lifestyle. Pay & Benefits $ p/h (plus allowances), superannuation, salary packaging Not-for‑Profit salary packaging to increase take‑home pay More take‑home pay with competitive packaging options up to $15,990, novated leasing, optional Meals & Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annum Better work‑life balance with consistent fortnightly rosters for permanent positions – no rotating rosters Confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program Employee Referral Program – refer a friend and be rewarded Free onsite parking Requirements For The Role Relevant qualifications in Leisure and Lifestyle or Aged Care At least 1 year of experience in a similar position Experience with dementia care and knowledge of memory support programs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families A compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills Other Requirements A current, full driver’s licence for the State of Victoria appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven, and compliance with licence restrictions (e.g., wearing glasses). Mandatory requirement to have a valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or both. All aged care workers are encouraged to receive Covid‑19 (3 vaccines) and Flu‑Vaccine; proof of Covid‑19 vaccination is required prior to commencement. Why work for Royal Freemasons?
