The Role Caulfield Grammar School has a proud history inAPSSwimming, and we are looking to appoint a Head ofSwimming with a strong vision tolead a progressive program and drive excellence throughout all phases ofthe Swimmingprogram. The Head ofAPSSwimming will develop and implement a season plan and coaching programtosupportand developtheAPS Swimmingteamandspecialist coaches.You will explore, present, and deliver strategies to further promote and strengthen swimming through both internal and external opportunities. Thisis a short term3monthopportunity for the duration of Term 1, with the view/possibilitytoextendemployment at the conclusionof the APS Season. Fixed Term Opportunity based at Caulfield& Wheelers HillCampus,Part TimeonTuesdaysfrom 11am -4pm, Thursdaysfrom 3pm - 6pmandall scheduledAPSswim meets on Saturdayfrom7am -2pm.(Including the APS Final’s Night & All School’scompetition) Key Duties Manage all aspects of the CGSAPSswimming program Inspire ourAPSSwimmingCommunity to reach their full potential by engaging and developing our dedicated team ofSwimmingsupport staff,coachesand students Hold a vision for how tomaximisethe opportunityfora large multi campus school inAPSswimming acrossall levels Offer a strong technical base and a willingness to educate others Attend trainingsessions/camps/fixturesandcompleteany administrative tasksin a timely manner Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values andbehaviour Skills and Experience Previousexperience managing aswimmingprogramorsimilar environment will be highly regarded Strong time management skills andleadership skills Holdappropriate complianceand coaching accreditation Ability to communicate and form strong relationships amongst the key stakeholders Strong knowledge ofSwimmingtechnique(Teaching or Education experience is preferred) Hold andmaintainan Employment WorkingWithChildren Check Level 1 First Aid certificate (including Anaphylaxis Management Training) Why Caulfield Grammar School Our culture is defined by the five values: Pursuing Excellence, Inspiring Creativity, Thriving Together, Embracing Diversity, and Living Wholeheartedly.
