Loyola College is seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to join our dynamic team as an Italian/French Teacher. This full-time role is based in Watsonia, VIC and will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality language education to our students. What you'll be doing Designing and delivering engaging Italian and French language lessons for secondary school students Year 7 - 9 French & Year 7 - 11 Italian Creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to ensure continuous improvement Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials Contributing to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities What we're looking for Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Experience teaching Italian and French languages at the secondary level Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues A passion for language education and a commitment to student‑centred learning What we offer Competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development Access to a range of health and wellbeing initiatives A collaborative and collegial team environment About us Loyola College is a co‑educational Catholic secondary school with a proud history of academic excellence and a strong focus on nurturing the holistic development of our students.
