They are seeking a skilled Citrix Systems Engineer on a 3 month contract which will see you through till end January, to replace someone going on leave. Responsibilities Design and implement scalable solutions across Citrix, SCCM, and Intune platforms Lead infrastructure enhancements, VDA/App deployment strategies, and endpoint compliance initiatives Develop automation scripts and dashboards for reporting, remediation, and compliance Scope and estimate technical effort, resources, and timelines for infrastructure projects Ensure consistent application of IT standards, security policies, and audit controls Qualifications Deep expertise in designing, scaling, and optimizing large-scale Citrix environments, including Citrix Cloud, PVS/MCS provisioning, StoreFront, and NetScaler (ADC). Proven ability to modernize and enhance VDI platforms for performance, resilience, and user experience. Advanced knowledge of Citrix technologies for application and desktop virtualization, with a focus on image lifecycle management, app layering strategies, and automated packaging pipelines to streamline delivery and reduce operational overhead. Extensive experience in architecting and evolving MS Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) environments, including SOE development, Windows 11 deployment readiness, and application packaging. Skilled in integrating with Intune for hybrid and cloud-native endpoint strategies. Solid foundation in Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDS), Proficient in delivering solutions using VMware ESXi to support infrastructure modernization, workload isolation, and DevOps-aligned delivery models. Experienced in performance tuning and capacity planning to support high-availability workloads. Skilled in PowerShell scripting for infrastructure automation, compliance remediation, and orchestration of deployment workflows across Citrix, SCCM, and Windows platforms. While the role is technology focused, the successful candidate will also present with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
