To support this work, the agency is seeking a Security focused Cloud & Endpoint Engineer with strong Azure and endpoint protection expertise. This role requires a current NV1 Security Clearance, as the position involves working within secure environments and handling sensitive information. Key Responsibilities Security & Endpoint Protection Implement and optimise endpoint security controls across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. Configure Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) security baselines, compliance policies, and conditional access. Enhance endpoint threat protection using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and related security tools. Support identity and access security uplift through Azure AD, MFA, and privileged access controls. Contribute to Essential Eight uplift activities, including hardening, patching, and application control. Maintain secure device build standards, SOEs/GOEs, and automated provisioning processes. Conduct assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and support remediation activities. Cloud & Azure Engineering Design and implement secure Azure infrastructure and application deployments. Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Bicep, ARM, Terraform, or PowerShell. Develop CI/CD pipelines to support automated and repeatable deployments. Integrate Azure services with identity, security, and monitoring platforms. Prepare cloud security documentation aligned with agency governance requirements. Operational Excellence & Collaboration Produce clear technical documentation, including SOPs, as built artefacts, and security configurations. Integrate solutions with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow. Participate in workshops, design reviews, and transition to operations activities. Provide knowledge transfer to uplift internal capability. Deliverables Secure endpoint configurations and protection policies. Azure infrastructure deployments and IaC artefacts. CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts. Security and architecture documentation. As built and operational documentation. Standard Operating Procedures. Knowledge transfer activities. Mandatory Skills & Experience Current NV1 Security Clearance. Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or Cloud/Endpoint Engineer. Strong expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and endpoint security. Experience with Microsoft Defender security suite (MDE, MDI, MDO). Infrastructure as Code experience (Bicep, ARM, Terraform, PowerShell). Identity and security integration experience across Azure AD and conditional access. Experience integrating solutions with ITSM and monitoring platforms. Strong documentation and communication skills. Highly Desirable Experience supporting Essential Eight uplift activities. Microsoft Power Platform knowledge. Microsoft Teams or Teams Telephony experience. ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM experience. Experience working within Government or regulated environments.
