Role Summary The role of the Disability Support Worker is to work with clients within the NDIS funding framework, assisting them to achieve their goals and increase their independence and participation within the community. You will provide support to people with disability and/or psychosocial needs, enabling them to undertake all aspects of daily living and promote positive behaviours, learning experiences and skill development. Responsibilities and Duties Taking clients out for social outings and activities, shopping trips or GP/specialist appointments Servicing clients at their respective homes with activities of daily living such as toileting, showering and dressing Light domestic duties and meal preparation/eating assistance Liaising with the families and representatives of your client as required Qualifications & Experience We’re looking for candidates with flexible availability – the more shifts you can work, the more opportunities we can match you with. The roles will work across Belmont, Canning Vale, Gosnells, and surrounding suburbs. WA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Proof of working rights – Passport or visa Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle Previous experience assisting high care clients with challenging behaviours will be highly regarded We Value Diversity St Jude's NDIS are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
