Investment Associate (Infrastructure Fund) We are the exclusive recruiter assisting a leading, independent infrastructure fund manager seeking an Investment Associate to join its growing Sydney investment team. With multi‑billion dollars in funds under management and a diversified portfolio across transport, energy, renewables, digital and social infrastructure, this is an opportunity to work on high‑quality mid‑market assets that are essential to the communities they serve. The Role As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role across both new investments and asset management, working closely with senior team members. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the origination and execution of new infrastructure investments across existing and new sectors Supporting and coordinating due diligence workstreams (commercial, technical, financial, legal, ESG) on live transactions Taking an owner’s‑mindset approach to portfolio companies, helping to identify and deliver value‑add initiatives Proactive asset management, including board/committee materials, attending board meetings and contributing to strategic discussions Preparing and presenting analysis and recommendations to Investment Committees, portfolio company boards and other key stakeholders Undertaking detailed financial modelling and valuation (project finance style modelling, scenarios and sensitivities) Coordinating external advisers and contributing to broader investment and thematic research across the portfolio Candidate Profile We’re interested in high‑calibre individuals who: Have 2–5+ years’ experience in infrastructure investing, project finance, investment banking, corporate development or transaction services (with infrastructure focus, and modelling skills) with strong exposure to infrastructure or real assets Bring excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills Are comfortable working across the full deal lifecycle – from origination and due diligence through to execution and ongoing asset management Can communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, including board members and external advisers Demonstrate a genuine interest in infrastructure, energy transition and long‑term, real‑asset investing Thrive in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team environment and are willing to roll up their sleeves on both deals and portfolio work What’s on Offer The chance to work for a specialist infrastructure manager with a clear mid‑market focus and an active portfolio across multiple sectors and geographies Exposure to both transactions and active ownership, not just one part of the process A flat, collegiate culture with direct access to senior leadership and decision‑making forums Competitive remuneration with a clear path for progression for high performers #J-18808-Ljbffr
