Assistant to Truck Driver

Your ability to work in a team and physical fitness will be highly regarded in this role. You'll be working alongside the Truck Driver, loading and unloading bulky (and sometimes heavy) items and assisting with deliveries and pickups. You may also provide assistance with rearranging bulky items around the warehouse. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential. National Criminal and Working with Children Checks and current driver’s licence (at least Class C) are required. You’ll play a key role in the operations of the Distribution Centre, making a contribution to this well known and highly regarded organisation. You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you are working for an organisation that makes a difference to those in need. This role will provide you with warehouse training and experience, and other relevant work experience. The opportunity to work in a team, meet new people and potentially form new friendships and networks. You’ll be provided with ongoing support and instruction on how to accomplish tasks safely. Considerable amount of work is done in a team, providing opportunities to learn and share experience. Training in WHS (manual handling), and how to communicate with customers.
