With a dedicated workforce of over 400 staff throughout Australia, we deliver bespoke deployable health solutions, remote medical clinics, and international air ambulance repatriations treating thousands of patients annually. Position Scope As we continue to expand, we are seeking an operations assistant to join our dynamic team in office. In this role, you will support the Group's day‑to‑day Operations, contributing to the development and execution of various medical services projects. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including resource management, quality assurance initiatives, educational endeavour, travel arrangements, staffing coordination, and equipment requisition, thereby supporting all employees working in the field on a day‑to‑day basis and engaging with clients and the public. Projects Covered International and national medical evacuation retrievals Remote medical clinics throughout Australia Assisting private and government sectors Event medical services Crash response helicopters Responsibilities Coordination of air ambulance taskings, rescue helicopter deployments and remote medical clinics – preparing quotations, rosters, undertaking staff and client liaison, audits, reporting and equipment/stock coordination. Adhere to a 24/7 rotating roster with on‑call expectations. Assist the implementation of new medical services projects. Work in partnership with the Medical Director and HR team to coordinate resource allocation, provide operational supervision and people management. Contribute to operations planning by active representation at meetings. Monitor and report on operational, professional or organisational issues and outcomes within the work unit. Maintain stores and equipment. Communicate effectively with staff, healthcare professionals, emergency service personnel, aviation crew, colleagues, patients and their families. Ensure the security, safety and maintenance of all equipment. Coordinate operational rosters across multiple sites. Induct and onboard new clinical staff. Conduct audits and site visits across the organisation’s operations. Manage operational circumstances calmly and professionally, ensuring safety and appropriate patient management. Recognise and manage multidisciplinary team human factors and stressors during aeromedical missions. Qualifications Solid multi‑site and project management experience within the health or medical sector, coupled with exceptional organisational skills and proficiency in project management software. Ability to work on a rotating (4 days on‑4 days off) roster with on‑call components. Demonstrated expertise in managing personnel and developing rosters. Experience with Border Force and international and national legislations. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong leadership skills able to engage a large team of clinical personnel working remotely. Ability to analyze and streamline processes and accurately document and report on outcomes. Prior experience in clinical, defence, or aviation sectors is advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
