Heavy Truck Driver/Labourer Baulkham Hills, New South Wales Description An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our Civil Works Team. This position provides quality service to the Hill’s Shire community. You must have the ability to work as part of a team to complete a variety of tasks associated with the planned and reactive civil maintenance. In this position you will drive trucks and carry out manual labouring as required within the Asphalt team. Responsibilities Carry out tasks associated with the maintenance of Council’s Civil Infrastructure including filling of potholes, road patching, asphalt wedging and other civil related maintenance duties. Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Drive a truck and/or trailer combination including daily maintenance checks and reporting of issues. Carry out manual labour to support teams. Remove and dispose of general litter and hazardous objects. Qualifications White Card - General Construction Induction NSW Drivers Licence Class HR or HC – desirable Benefits Competitive rates of pay starting from $70K per annum (excluding superannuation), paid weekly, 9‑day fortnight, permanent full‑time. Performance Bonus (up to 2% annual salary) and Organisational Bonus (up to $2K).
