Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled Inc – Coombabah QLD Volunteer Roles Lead walking – leading the horse during the lesson Side walking – walking alongside the horse providing support to the rider Carriage work – assisting with the carriage riding program Stable work – assisting our capable staff with caring for the horses Training will be provided and all volunteers will be required to hold both a Blue card (working with children) and a yellow card (disabilities). Hours and Schedules Riding Classes: Mon 8:15 – 12:15, 12:30 – 3:30; Wed 9:30 – 1:00; Thu 8:45 – 12:00; Fri 2:00 – 5:00 ASDAN Program: Mon 9:30 – 12:30, Wed 1:00 – 5:00 Carriage Driving: Wed 1:00 – 5:00 and Fri 9:30 – 12:30 & 2:00 – 5:00 Category Disability Services Commitment Regular – more than 6 months Type of Work Disability Support Sport & Physical Activity Working with Animals Time Required Mon‑Fri 8:30 – 4:30 pm.
