If you want to help shape the future of Frankston now is the time to join our team About the position Councils Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a full-time Team Leader who is passionate and experienced early childhood professional and ready to deliver high-quality inclusive and innovative early learning programs in our long day care service in Frankston North. As Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the centre ensuring excellence in educational practice compliance and staff leadership. You will foster a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes the wellbeing and development of children families and staff. Responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality safe and compliant early learning programs. Manage staffing including recruitment induction rostering performance and professional development. Promote a positive team culture that values diversity innovation and continuous improvement. Oversee financial and administrative operations of the centre. Build strong relationships with families staff co-located services and the wider community. Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements policies and procedures. Develop strategies to maximise enrolments and occupancy. About you Minimum Diploma-level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and substantial experience managing a child care service and leading a large team of educators. Proven leadership in early childhood settings. Deep knowledge of National Law Regulations National Quality Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. Strong compliance and child safety focus. Financial and administrative management expertise. Ability to mentor teams and foster a positive culture.
