About Cabrini’s Cardiac Catheterisation Lab Cabrini’sCardiac Catheterisation Laboratoriesperforms over 3000 procedures a year. More than 30 cardiologists, representing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, have regular sessions within the Laboratory. Our Cath Labs are technology-driven, patient-focused, and designed for excellence. With advanced Interventional, Electrophysiology (EP), and Structural Heart capabilities, we are committed to providing the highest standard of cardiac care in a collective and innovative environment. Elective services are offered Monday to Friday however a 24 hour on-call service is available to support the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit. The role Our EP trained Cardiac Technician / Cardiac Physiologist is responsible for providing a high-quality service in physiological monitoring and ECG interpretation during procedures and/or pacemaker testing. Our technicians practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care in accordance with legislation and protocols. How you will make an impact Be a key stakeholder in the build and development of our new state-of-the-art Cath Lab Take on a pivotal role in a high-performing team delivering support for Interventional, EP, and Structural procedures Drive innovation and best practice in a well-established and mature program Join a team with a ‘can do’ culture that engages and develops strong working relationships with our Cardiologists About You Cardiac Technicians Certificate/diploma or relevant tertiary degree Strong clinical skills in ECG interpretation in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting Experience in interventional, EP and structural heart procedures (12-18 months experience preferred) A commitment to clinical excellence and quality patient care A vision for team development and service expansion Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation Flexibility and a positive attitude Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment Excellent customer service focus and communication skills To view the full position description click here.
