Based in Moorabbin, Victoria, ZECO Energy is a fast-growing company in solar and battery storage and energy technology markets in both residential and commercial segments. At ZECO Energy, we currently provide technical support to over 50,000 residential customers across Australia on a daily basis. In addition, ZECO designed and developed MARSHALL, a smart renewable device that connects, controls and troubleshoots a variety of solar devices to achieve higher efficiency and lower costs. ZECO Energy is at the forefront of smart energy innovation. We're seeking a Software Engineer with a strong background in networking and cloud infrastructure to help build and support the systems behind our smart energy gateway devices. Qualifications/skills we are looking for Proficient in Python for scripting and backend development Experience with network protocols , device connectivity , and security Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., IoT Core, VPC, Lambda, S3, EC2) Comfortable working in Linux environments Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Solid grasp of cloud networking principles and system design Tasks & responsibilities Design and implement backend services for managing and monitoring connected energy devices Develop and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS Optimise network performance and reliability across deployed gateways Work closely with embedded systems and deployment teams to ensure seamless integration Troubleshoot network and cloud service issues in real‑time environments The successful candidate will possess the following attributes High levels of flexibility in learning new products and new technology An attitude towards “best in class” customer support Positive mindset We will only consider candidates currently residing in Australia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
