The Position Due to recent projects and a growth plan, this is an opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to step up into a Junior Project Manager role with a solid work history for long-term collaboration. Senior Contract Administrator / Contract Manager ready to step up into Project Manager. Govt Community Style Project – $20M health project. Available immediately (or ASAP). Will be responsible for managing 1 x Contracts Administrator and interfacing with 1 x Cadet. Responsible for monthly forecasting and financial management. Solid contracts and commercial experience to lead the CAs and Cadet through procurement and general contract administration. As the project starts and runs, the Project Director will hand over control to you as the Project Manager. The Person Proven track record in contract administration/management roles. Strong financial and commercial skill set. Excellent communication skills. Experience with established company systems and procedures. Future leader with mentoring skills for younger Contracts Administration team members. Experience on Government and Institutional Projects. Not interested in Residential Builder / Apartment Contractors. Ambitious person looking to extend supervision across several teams, with a career path to Senior Project Manager for NSW business for the right person. Must have a stable employment record and tenure with similar 2nd or 3rd tier construction firms. Similar project experience in Government, Institutional, or Commercial up to $40M. Preference for candidates with 5+ years of tenure with the same organisation. On offer Internal training in a company-wide Management Development Program. Personal growth and career progression into Senior Management within a growing organisation. Salary: $180K–$220K for the right person and skill set.
