Best Start Facilitator Cardinia Shire Council invites applications for the Best Start Facilitator role. This part‑time (28.5 hours over 4 days) hybrid position offers an opportunity to influence outcomes for children and families across the municipality. Salary: $106,718 – $128,810 + super (pro rata) . About the Opportunity As the Best Start Facilitator, you will lead the delivery of the Best Start Program, coordinating strategic projects, championing innovation, and overseeing the Kindergarten Central Registration & Enrolment Scheme. You’ll Make an Impact By Facilitating the Best Start Partnership to deliver targeted outcomes for children and families. Coordinating strategic and operational projects that build service capacity and drive innovation. Leading the implementation and review of the Kindergarten Central Registration & Enrolment Scheme. Building strong partnerships across government, education, and community sectors. Ensuring children’s voices are embedded in the design, delivery, and evaluation of service. What You Will Bring Demonstrated experience in analysing data and using evidence to inform strategic decision‑making. Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong skills in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and co‑design. Strategic thinking with the ability to align work with broader Council objectives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills. Sound understanding of child and family service systems, including local and state networks. Knowledge of Child Safe Standards, privacy, and confidentiality legislation.
