TEAM MANAGER, ELIGIBILITY (HIGH RISK TEAM) – PERSONAL INJURY – MELBOURNE, VIC About the role The primary purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day work activity of the High-Risk Eligibility team to ensure legislative timeframes and performance targets are met. Responsibilities Support, coach, and mentor a team of Eligibility Specialists ensuring team and organizational objectives are met Manage Eligibility Service Model and customer experience Provide technical guidance and exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders Complete key deliverables set by internal customers within the required standards and timeframes Ensure best practice eligibility management is implemented and followed within the team Identify individual areas for improvement and coach staff so they can reach their full potential and achieve outcomes required Participate in internal and external meetings when required About you Experience as a Team Leader/ Manager or equivalent in the VIC Worker’s Compensation field, preferably in an Eligibility environment Experience in the worker’s compensation scheme, in particular Eligibility and/or Technical Management Demonstrated experience in collaborating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders Strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, and communication skills Excellent diligent and time management skills A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape Benefits and perks Inclusive Culture: Join a supportive, open-minded team focused on customer outcomes, bringing your authentic self to work every day Flexible Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible and remote work options and workplace adjustments, with support for your work/life balance.
