Leading Hand dnata Perth Airport, Western Australia, Australia Perth Airport WA We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Leading Hand and Aircraft Cabin Cleaners to join our team. The Leading Hand will report directly to the Station Coordinator and will ensure that all cleaning staff assigned to their control are continuously observed, coached, and are following company procedures, including WHS and security related matters. Leading Hand Responsibilities Mentor, monitor and motivate employees. Mediate in staff conflicts. Liaison with airline contacts during cleaning. Monitor individual cleaner's performance, report and correct under performance. Ensure sufficient equipment, chemicals and materials are available for each clean. Deliver quality, on time service. Use of two way radios. Working with due care to ensure your health and safety and the safety of others in the workplace. Being punctual, very reliable and highly motivated to work. Ability to work well under pressure and in a very fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate / read / write in English. Cleaning Duties Clean and restock toilets. Clean galleys. Clean and dress all seats according to airline specifications. Remove all rubbish from aircraft. Clean seat back pockets, tray tables, windows and replace soiled magazines. Must be willing to clean toilets. Clean / vacuum aircraft floor. Carry out other duties as per airline requirements. The ideal candidate will Be a mentor to the team, a leader and trainer to ensure the service of cleaning is of the highest standard. Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Be dedicated and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Be proactive and have the ability to solve problems. Have extensive cleaning / supervising experience. Have sound written and verbal English skills. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Be able to work closely with both the client and management. These are casual positions and will require you to work nights, weekends and public holidays. To be considered for this role you must satisfy a National Police Check.
