The program provides families and individuals on low incomes across Western Australia with the opportunity to apply for small, no interest loans in time of need. These loans help people purchase essential household items and services without the burden of interest charges or fees. As a Small Loans Officer, you will be responsible for processing and approving applications for No Interest Loans. The is aFull time (1.0 FTE) max term opportunity until June 2026. Desired Skills and Experience What you will bring Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance, including clients from an Aboriginal and CALD background. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritise, plan work and maintain accurate records Ability to be flexible, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressure in a team environment The ability to maintain high quality standards and attention to detail Ability to work within defined policies and procedures The successful applicant must also have a valid National Police Clearance and a WA Driver's Licence. A police record is not an automatic barrier to employment with us. From $75,387 annual salary range 12% superannuation In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount.
