About the role Join Ally Wealth Management as a Senior Paraplanner and play a vital role in providing comprehensive financial planning advice to our clients. This is a full-time position based in our Sydney or Perth office, with opportunities for flexible and remote working arrangements. As a Senior Paraplanner, you will collaborate closely with our team of experienced financial advisors to deliver tailored financial strategies that help our clients achieve their long-term financial goals. What you’ll be doing Conduct in-depth client research and analysis to understand their unique financial situation, goals and risk profile. Prepare comprehensive financial plans and recommendations, including investment, insurance, superannuation and retirement planning strategies. Assist in the implementation of financial plans by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure all advice is compliant and aligned with client needs. Contribute to the continued development of our financial planning processes and tools. Mentor and provide guidance to more junior members of the paraplanning team. Manage and provide support for the offshore advice delivery team. What we’re looking for 3+ years of experience as a Paraplanner or similar financial planning support role. Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial planning principles. Extensive knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, taxation, superannuation and estate planning. Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify tailored financial solutions. Strong communication and client-facing skills to effectively present financial recommendations. Demonstrated experience in mentoring, managing and developing more junior team members. Minimum 1-2 years of team management experience required.
