It specializes in reconditioning and inspection of railway bearings. It is highly respected in the industry for technical excellence, reliability, safety and efficiency. About the Role We are looking for a Railway Bearing Inspector to join our newly acquired bearing reconditioning business in Auburn, Sydney. As a Bearing Inspector, you will inspect and recondition railway bearings to customer’s specifications. Key Responsibilities Assessment of railway bearings for re-qualification and reconditioning to customer's specifications Critical bearing dimension measurement and data entry into Jupiter system Bearing reconditioning processes: polishing, engraving and assembly Maintaining tools, measuring equipment and machinery Verifying all precision measuring equipment has been calibrated Achieving daily production targets in a timely manner Packing, dispatching and receiving of goods Abiding by company's OH&S policies and procedures Keeping the work area clean and organized Skills and Attributes High attention to detail Previous experience in bearing reconditioning is advantageous, but not essential since training will be provided Basic computer and data entry skills Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and within a team environment Forklift license is advantageous, but not essential What We Offer Ongoing job training, learning and development opportunities Opportunity to work overtime during the week and Saturdays when required, but not mandatory Friendly and supportive small team work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
