Posted 1 day ago The Organisation Mars has partnered with a growth business to appoint an experienced senior financial analyst/finance lead to play a key role in the integration of recently acquired businesses. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical finance expertise, proven success in M&A integration or large‑scale finance transformation, and the leadership skills to build and manage a high performing finance team. The Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the roles responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Deliver accurate and timely management reports, financial analysis, and commentary to support senior decision‑making. Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with business unit leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Partner across Operations, Sales, HR, and Corporate Development to provide commercial insights and improve business performance. Support mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, post‑acquisition integration, and tracking of synergy realisation. Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and analytical tools to enhance visibility of key business drivers. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation across the finance function. Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and maintain strong governance and internal controls. Present financial insights clearly and effectively to senior and non‑financial stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions. The Requirements Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background, ideally gained within a multi‑entity organisation. Demonstrated experience in M&A integration, post‑acquisition finance, or large transformation initiatives. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage at senior leadership and board levels. Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, delivery‑focused approach. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with a focus on value creation and operational excellence.
