Social Media Producer

Vidico is looking for a fast and agile Social Video Producer to join our Melbourne team. This is a unique opportunity to create short‑form and UGC‑style content end‑to‑end — from idea to final cut — for leading tech and consumer brands. What you’ll do: Ideate, script, and brief content concepts that are engaging and platform-native. Produce and manage shoots independently — directing talent and ensuring content feels authentic. Edit short‑form video content quickly and effectively, ready for TikTok, Meta, and other platforms. Stay across trends, sounds, and platform shifts to keep content fresh and relevant. Collaborate with Vidico’s creative team to deliver content that performs in‑market. Support retention across our content plans by ensuring projects deliver on client outcomes. What we’re looking for: A natural storyteller with a strong grasp of TikTok, Meta, and other short‑form content. Confident in scripting, briefing, producing, and editing end‑to‑end. You can manage other talent, but you also aren’t shy of filming videos of yourself. Hands‑on editing skills (CapCut or Native TikTok editor). An understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable, and high‑performing. You’re naturally organised, but are energised by good creative. Someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment. Melbourne‑based, working from our Fitzroy HQ or Heidelberg Studio. Agility is Key: Social‑first content moves quickly — success comes from speed of execution matched with creative quality. Creativity with Purpose: Every script, edit, and shoot should serve the client’s objectives, while engaging audiences in a meaningful way. Collaboration Drives Impact: Liaising with talent, clients, and internal teams requires clarity, empathy, and an ability to bring people together. Detail + Big Picture: Balance hands‑on editing and production with awareness of broader campaign objectives. Reliability Builds Trust: Clients and teammates will look to you to deliver consistently on time, on brief, and with polish. Additional responsibilities: Champion agile production practices that allow us to move quickly while maintaining craft. Refine and evolve Vidico’s approach to UGC and social video content.Contribute to processes and templates that streamline client approval and production workflows.
