Media Portfolio and Operations Lead We’re looking for a Media Portfolio and Operations Lead at Westpac. What’s the role? As a Media Portfolio and Operations Lead, you will lead a portfolio of media initiatives to maximise value and impact. You’ll balance investment and resources, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and ensure media activity aligns with enterprise frameworks to strengthen brand and deliver commercial outcomes. You’ll stay ahead of industry trends, cultural shifts, and emerging technologies to inform strategy. This role also involves providing governance across planning processes, balancing short‑term results with long‑term brand building. Establishing frameworks to evaluate effectiveness, embed lessons into future decisions, and integrate owned, earned, and engagement tactics for a seamless customer experience. Monitoring performance, analysing data, and optimising campaigns for success. What do I need? Strong people leadership experience, ability to inspire and develop media‑specialised talent whilst driving accountability and performance Strong capability in managing complex planning processes, timelines and governance requirements Skilled at simplifying complex information and presenting it in a compelling way to senior executives Media deal negotiations management experience and specialisation in performance digital media metrics Commercial media acumen to balance investment trade‑offs, ensuring optimal allocation of budgets to drive business impact Why join us?
