Raglan Drilling is seeking a motivated and experienced Purchasing Officer / Store Person to join our team. This hands‑on role is vital to keeping our drilling programs running smoothly – managing procurement, stores and logistics to ensure the right parts and materials are available when and where they’re needed. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Source and purchase equipment, parts, consumables and drilling supplies. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive pricing and lead times. Process purchase orders, invoices and maintain accurate procurement records. Receive, inspect and issue goods and materials. Maintain stock levels, conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory systems. Coordinate freight, logistics and deliveries to site locations and field locations. Assist the Workshop Manager with: Scheduling and tracking maintenance and repair work. Ensuring spare parts are available for planned and breakdown maintenance. Organising and dispatching equipment to and from the field. Maintaining workshop tools, consumables and records. Maintain a clean, safe and organised store and workshop area. Support operations and maintenance teams with timely supply of parts and materials. The right person will have the following skills and competencies: Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management principles. Knowledge of drilling, mining and/or industrial equipment and consumables. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities. Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with inventory software programs. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance. Qualifications, experience and attributes: Valid driver's licence. Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in purchasing, warehousing and/or stores management, ideally in the drilling, mining and/or heavy industrial sector. Forklift licence (highly desirable).
