Find out more about working with us. The Team The team at State Wide ICT Service Delivery (SWISD) values innovation, excellence, collaboration, and empowerment. Our key priorities include enabling learning and organisational productivity, supporting a safe and secure ICT environment in state schools, and fostering equity and excellence in education. Operating as part of the field services team, the IT Support Manager leads the Metro North Coast Team spanning both Metropolitan North and North Coast Education Regions. Covering roughly 350 Queensland State Schools, Education Centres and Corporate Offices. The Metro North Coast Team spans five (5) Operations Centres and 11 Systems Technicians supporting sites from the Brisbane River in the south through to Monto and Agnes Waters in the north. Together with three (3) other IT Support Managers, each leading their teams of Systems Technicians supporting schools in different geographical patches of Queensland, a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and the Director, form the leadership team of the State Wide ICT Service Delivery directorate. About The Role As the IT Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the SWISD team, leading a team of dedicated and professional System Technicians to ensure seamless ICT service delivery across the state. Reporting to the Director, you will lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives for ICT support services, contributing strategically to the department's goals and objectives. As a member of SWISD, the ideal candidate must embody a passion for staying current with cutting‑edge technologies and trends in the ICT industry. You should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem‑solving, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence in ICT support service delivery. Additionally, the right fit for this role should have a collaborative spirit, be adaptable to emerging needs, and possess a drive for continuous improvement and learning within the dynamic ICT landscape.
