Senior Physiotherapist (Clinical) - State Wide - Schools and Student Support - Flexible Join to apply for the Senior Physiotherapist (Clinical) - State Wide - Schools and Student Support - Flexible role at Queensland Government We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist (Clinical) to provide leadership, support and mentoring for our physiotherapy team. You will develop training based on identified needs, build capability, and ensure best practice in physiotherapy service delivery to school staff and students across Queensland. This is a full-time temporary role; flexible work arrangements will be considered. Responsibilities Formalise and implement a sustainable statewide consistent approach to capability development specific to safely assisting students to move and position (through manual handling), for our school-based physiotherapy team. Support physiotherapists across the state to use complex clinical evidence-based physiotherapy to build school team capability to safely assist students to move and position (through manual handling); often through flexible service delivery. Provide subject matter expertise to physiotherapy leadership and others across the Department as required. Lead and conduct specialised projects and innovative research activities relating to manual handling and the delivery and continuous improvement of physiotherapy services within schools. Other Responsibilities Some overnight travel will be required. Qualifications Clinical skills and expertise in safely assisting students to move and position (through manual handling). Strong communication skills. Great time management ability. Ability to use various ICT platforms for service delivery. Application Requirements A brief resume (maximum 2 pages) including contact details for two referees, one of whom is your current supervisor. A written response (maximum 2 pages) detailing your strengths relating to the role and responsibilities, including relevant examples from current physiotherapy practice which demonstrate high-level skills in providing evidence-based support to students with disability in safely assisting students to move and position (through manual handling), ability to adjust service provision, ensuring culturally safe practice, and to recognise and value diversity; ability to lead and deliver projects which include staff capability and resource development, and to manage time and resources effectively; mentoring and/or coaching skills across a statewide physiotherapy workforce, aligning with strategic direction, through flexible support provision; high-level communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders, both locally and across the state. #J-18808-Ljbffr
