Yokohama TWS are a global leader in the manufacture and supply of industrial and agricultural tyres and wheels, with operations in 40 countries, 6,000 employees and in excess of $1.6bn sales annually and are known for our premium tyre brands (Trelleborg and Mitas). Across Australia we have 7 Interfit branches that service our industrial customers, and we also have an agricultural wheel manufacturing business in regional Victoria. In total we have 60 employees. The successful candidate will be based in either of our Bendigo or Truganina Branches. Reporting to the MD the HRBP will support local functional leaders through the management of tactical as well as strategical business aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will provide HR support, knowhow and guidance for the HR processes and local laws requirements, with ability to manage the overall employee life cycle from hire to retire. You will act as a general advisor for employees and business leaders. Key HR responsibilities Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance. Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department and provide insights to business leaders. Resolve complex employee relations issues. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning. Identify training needs for teams and individuals. Management of the recruitment process. Management of the annual performance process. In addition to HR the successful candidate will also be responsible for the management of the WHS function including: WHS responsibilities Chairing the WHS committee. Updating risk assessments and safe work procedures. Investigating incidents and near misses. Reporting WHS metrics to regional management. Completing new customer WHS documentation. Management of injuries and RTW programs. The HR and safety functions are part way along the “good to great” journey with a number of fundamental processes in place but there is still significant opportunity for an energetic and ambitious professional to take the functions to the next level and to have a significant impact on the future success of the business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
