The Role We are currently seeking a professional, reliable and experienced Security Officer - Rover to join our motivated security team at Eastgardens . This part‑time position requires shifts across weekends and weekdays, and flexibility is essential to accommodate operational needs. The role involves gaining excellent knowledge of site security, building management and fire control systems under standard operating procedures, with a focus on both new staff willing to learn and experienced individuals. Key Responsibilities Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property. Provide a professional and courteous customer service experience. Adhere to all relevant security protocols and procedures. Respond to emergencies, alarm events and calls for assistance, providing the necessary support. Assess and respond to situations of risk. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need A valid Security License (updated). Basic First Aid and CPR certification (updated). Previous experience in a retail environment (Westfield Security Experience highly regarded). Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts. A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role). Reliable transportation (preferred). CCTV/Radio communications experience preferred. Report writing experience. The ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong attention to detail. A proven track record of reliability and punctuality. You must have valid work rights in Australia.
