Base pay range A$80.00/hr - A$85.00/hr Senior Advisor - Health & Safety (3-Month Contract) We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a dynamic team and provide short-term support. This role focuses on improving safety culture, managing risks, and supporting leaders with practical solutions. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance the health & safety management system Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance activities Develop and implement safety initiatives, policies, and training programs Provide expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing across multiple sites Location: Burwood East (with occasional travel to Williams Landing & Ballarat) Work Pattern: 5-day on-site fortnightly, anchor day Thursday Duration: 3 months Desired Skills and Experience Essential Diploma or tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (or related discipline) with extensive OHS experience Return to Work Coordinator training Strong understanding of health, safety, and employee wellbeing issues in large, diverse organizations Contemporary knowledge of risk management, including experience with tools like ICAM Solid understanding of current OHS and Accident Compensation legislation Proven ability to manage projects and deliver effective outcomes Experience developing and implementing safety management systems Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including preparing reports and presenting information Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills Must satisfy National Police Records Check (including fingerprinting) Desirable OHS management systems certification and auditing experience Contractor safety systems development experience Experience in public sector environments and working with union stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
