Charge Up Operator

Charge Up Operator - NSW (7530) Sydney, Australia Charge and fire development rounds in accordance with site procedures and safety standards. Handle, transport, and store explosives safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare and load blast holes with appropriate explosive products and accessories. Conduct pre- and post-blast inspections to ensure area safety and blast effectiveness. Operate and maintain charge-up equipment , including ITs, loaders, and explosive delivery systems. Communicate effectively with shift supervisors, jumbo operators, and other underground personnel. Complete required documentation , including charge-up reports, explosive usage logs, and safety checklists. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks , contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Assist with other underground tasks as required, including scaling, barricading, and general development support.
