Are you ready to do what you love? Join our team at Fellini’s Trattoria as a Barista/ Café all Rounder. Fellini’s Trattoria is HSW’s newest addition, located at the New Farm end of the precinct. Fellini’s Trattoria is an Italian street food kitchen and bar, inspired by the flavours of coastal Italy and the vibrant energy of Naples. We are now recruiting for stand out Baristas/ Café all rounders to join our morning breakfast team. In this role you’ll be the one who kickstarts the day by crafting killer coffees, sharing good vibes, and setting the tone for a great guest experience. Reporting to our Café Supervisor, you’ll bring energy, precision, and passion to every pour, all while working alongside a team that loves what they do. If you are a morning person, this is the role for you with shifts starting from 5:30am and finishing before midday across weekdays and weekends Key responsibilities include: Prepare high-quality espresso coffee and hot beverages to order, consistently and efficiently. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to deliver an exceptional coffee experience. Monitor coffee quality and adjust grinders or brewing techniques as needed. Handle opening and closing duties for the coffee bar, including setup and pack down. Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment. Collaborate with the wider front-of-house team to support smooth service during busy periods. Stay informed about our coffee offerings and other beverage products to confidently answer guest questions. What we are looking for: Proven barista experience in a fast-paced café or hospitality environment. Passion for coffee and delivering memorable guest experiences. Strong technical espresso skills, including dialling in grinders and latte art. A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills. Availability for early mornings and weekend shifts.
