21C, Barista and Cafe All Rounders Wanted Continental Hospitality Group St Vincent's Pty Ltd – Fitzroy VIC Harley and Doyle is a brand-new venue opening this January 2026 within the world-class Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery (ACMD) in the St Vincent's Hospital Precinct. We are looking for the following passionate hospitality professionals to join our team as we launch this exciting new venue: Second in Charge (2IC) – an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Barista – a coffee enthusiast who is dedicated to delivering high quality beverages Cafe All Rounders – friendly, confident team players who will welcome and serve our customers What can we offer? Training and support provided prior to the grand opening A supportive, fun and collaborative environment The opportunity to serve researchers, clinicians, patients and visitors in a state-of-the-art facility A chance to be part of the grand opening team Duties and Responsibilities 2IC (Second-in-Charge): Supporting the Venue Manager with overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards are delivered at all times Training and mentoring team members Assisting with rostering, stock management, and compliance Ensuring exceptional customer service and team culture Barista: Preparing and serving consistently high-quality beverages with precision and care Providing friendly and prompt service to every customer Managing coffee equipment, stock and station cleanliness Assisting with front-of-house duties, as required Cafe All Rounders : Greeting customers in a professional and warm manner Taking orders and delivering food and beverages to customers Assisting customers with queries and making recommendations Assisting with keeping the venue clean and well-presented at all times About you Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role Excellent communication and organizational skills Friendly, professional, and reliable team player An eye for detail and commitment to high quality standards Personable and able to build rapport with customers (inclusive of researchers, clinicians and customers) Strong knowledge of food safety standards (food safety certificate is highly regarded) If you are interested in joining the team and being part of a new venue, please apply today.
