We are seeking a dynamic Study Manager - Mechanical to spearhead the front‑end engineering phases of a significant chemical plant expansion in Kwinana, Perth’s South. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape critical project stages from initiation through concept development, driving innovative solutions and engaging with a wide network of stakeholders. What We Need From You: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Senior‑level experience (10+ years) in technical project management within the process industry Experience in chemical plant expansions or similar industrial upgrades preferred Knowledge of power generation systems such as boilers, turbines, and generators Proven ability to oversee project initiation, DE, FEED, and transition stages Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Technical expertise in process plants, EPCM projects, or refinery operations Familiarity with front‑end project development and concept design Ability to work on‑site at CSBP Kwinana, with one day per week WFH flexibility Availability to start as soon as possible, with a contract duration of 6 to 12 months Willingness to engage in extensive stakeholder consultation and early project development activities If successful, you will be rewarded with: Highly competitive industry rates No FIFO – sleep in your own bed every night 12 Month contract employed by Chandler Macleod Monday to Friday: 38 hours per week One day to Work From Home Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked (paid monthly) Dedicated Senior Consultant for Candidate Care Weekly Pay + Access to Chandler Macleod’s EAP Programme Huge focus on safety and welfare of all contractors Elevate your career by leading a high‑impact project in a key industrial setting.
